Andrew Mills - Light: The Essence of Photography

“Where is the light coming from?” — a question Andrew Mills encouraged us to ask as we compose our images.

From Old Master paintings and the pioneers of photography through to modern day photographers, this week Andrew showed how light sits at the very heart of great photography.

His slightly unconventional take on what makes a successful image gave us a refreshing opportunity to step outside the more traditional elements of UK club photography and explore a different way of seeing.
