Club Night - Open Print Discussion

A great evening of photography and discussion last night!

Last night’s meeting was an informal one, with members sitting in small groups to look at and discuss prints from last week’s first Open Print competition. The prints rotated around the room and each table chose their favourites, with the top images those that did best across all tables.

There was plenty to talk about, with members sharing their thoughts on everything from the image itself to paper choice, printing and framing, as well as the stories and techniques behind the photographs.

There was also some lively discussion (and much appreciation!) about the judge’s comments from the competition, and it was interesting to see how differently we can interpret the same images.

It was a really friendly evening and a great opportunity to sit down, share ideas and get to know fellow members a little better.
