Summer Social - Churchfields

On Monday evening, a group of members met for our first Summer Social Photowalk, enjoying a relaxed evening of photography and conversation.

Starting at Churchfields Industrial Park, we followed the path alongside the River Nadder before making our way around to Broken Bridges. Along the route there was plenty to photograph, from scenic views of the Cathedral and the river itself to insect life, anglers making the most of the warm evening, and even several running groups that we occasionally found ourselves trying not to obstruct on the narrow path!

The photowalk provided a great opportunity for members to catch up after a couple of weeks away from regular club meetings and to enjoy photography in a more informal setting. As an added bonus, several members also managed to tick off potential subjects for this year's Summer Treasure Hunt challenge.

While the light wasn’t on our side, we had warm weather, good company, and plenty of photographic opportunities, and the evening proved to be an enjoyable start to our summer social programme. Here are a few images of us out and about!
