SPC Bristol Trip

On the 27th June, eight members of SPC took the train to Bristol for a social/photographic day out. Due to the hot weather it was decided to use the Floating Harbour Ferry to reduce the walking between locations. Taking the ferry from Temple Meads we made our way to the far west end of the harbour and along the way there were many photo opportunities from the water. We looked around Underfall Yard, before making our way to a local pub for lunch.

Before hopping back on the ferry we went to take in the view towards Clifton Suspension Bridge. Our next stop, the City Centre, where there were many photos to be had of the people enjoying the water features in Millennium Square. Some of us also visited College Green and the Cathedral before taking the ferry to Castle Park with its derelict church.

We returned to Temple Meads in the late afternoon to catch the train home, having had a thoroughly good day out. There are many other locations to visit in Bristol, so hopefully we will have a return trip soon.
