Local Summer Trip 1

Meet at the car park (signposted) on the A354 Salisbury to Blandford Road. The car park is on the left approx. half a mile west of the end of the dual carriageway (Grid Ref. SU0367120060)

All trips below will commence at 5.30pm. Walking boots are advised as some of the footpaths are often grassy and uneven, though are reasonably level. Bring a waterproof coat in case. If the weather is bad the trips will be cancelled/rearranged.

Summer Trip 2

Meet at the Eastern Clearing car park in Bentley Woods. The car park is off West Dean Road (Grid reference SU 2607 2926). The track to the car park from Scouts Lane is very uneven and potholed (not tarmaced). Follow the track for approx. half a mile to the car park on right. Please car share if possible as the car park only has limited spaces.

Turn off the A36 Salisbury to Warminster Road towards Steeple Langford, turn right after approx. 500m on to Duck Street cross the river and the entrance to the reserve is on the left (grid ref. SU038369)
